Oro/Iliaric asked me to go to the Watson's sale with her, and being broke, I decided to call my second conscience, Takuhino *coughmoneybankcough* along to stop me from buying me anything I don't need.
So we decided to meet at 10 in the morning, and I didn't want to put on makuep at first (Wanted to let my skin breathe), but I looked like crap since I didn't sleep the entire night (bad insomnia, nothing worked.), so I decided to make myself look less lifeless.
We reached Expo at 10.30AM, walking the short walkway to Expo, we realised there was the Asian food fair as well, which started at 11, so we went to the Watson's sale first.
Honestly, I was kinda disappointed, even though I knew that there won't be anything much. Even the makeup selection was sad. Only 2 brands, ZA and Majolica, and even they were selling unsellable stock. I wanted to get the ZA foundation, but I still decided to go with the Daiso one if I do have, since it works too.
So after Oro got her first batch of stuff (yea, we went back for a second round =D) we went over to the Asian food fair.
And after stepping in, this was the first food item our eyes found.

So we got two stick to share and because they took so long to cook, we took a picture together =D
And we got more food, which I am not going to post here, but here is one food picture, see if you guys can guess what this drink is!

*laughs* Okay, I know, I am sorry, but it was fun, anyway, it's actually something that I threw together when I got bored with eating. There is beer, green tea ice cream, and lotsa ice. Gross? Not actually. I liked it =D
After that, I wanted to walk around the gallery fair that was there too. I just like seeing stuff that you can decorate your house with, and I am one of those people, who don't mind getting asked if I am getting married, if I am getting a new home or renovating my home. Because it's fun, and they give you great recommendations instead of telling them you are still a student or you here for fun.
And we took pictures in one of the showrooms!
But anyway. Here is the rant part. It's kinda long, so if you want to skip it, it's fine. (Pardon the language)
We were looking at the showrooms and booths, and went we were at the last few, there was this particular booth(Add Space), where there were a lot of Sales Assistants just sitting around and not even bothering to approach us. I guess it made it worse that along their line there was this other booth(Quickstep) with this amazing sales assistant with gave a great pitch and was really sweet. So when one of them finally approached me as I was about to leave, I asked if they had brochures or a name card, so I could reference back if I need to. This asshole, gave me this weird look, gave a huge sigh, and said "We don't have brochures but I can give you my name card. You designs students want to come here and look around is it."
I was shocked at his attitude and tone. One, you are a sales assistant, you are supposed to speak nicely, and two definitely not speak to any customers with this kind of attitude! I blankly took his name card, and decided to hold onto it, and I turned to Oro and said in a softer voice "Do I look like a student?"
Imagine my surprise when he turned to his colleague who was standing beside him and then back to us and said "Ya lar, look like students lar, if not like what". And he even gave us the arrogant look!
Thinking back now, I should have made a fuss about it and demanded to see his manager, but I didn't and I keep in mind that I had his name card and decided to email his company to complain.
But at that point of time, I was infuriated with being treated this way. He sounded like I was going to steal their designs and use them for my own! I don't see why, when other of your competitors, who could assume we were a design student, and still treat us courteously, and didn't give such snide remarks!
Seriously! With that kind off service attitude, I can't see any way where they could get business. So only old folk can buy from you? Disgusted with his service, attitude, and tone.
I am in charge of monitoring the sale assistants in my god-brother's company, and I learn along the way. Even if I have never been a sales assistant, I still know the basic courtesy of treating a customer, and he was definitely way out of line. I have his name card with me, and I can't find an email address for the Singapore branch, but I do have their office numbers, and I am planning to call them and give some very serious feedback to them.
Sorry for the long rant, but I couldn't help myself. I have been trying not to think about it. But when I do, it all comes out in one huge lump.
So after leaving and going for the next Watson's haul, Taku and I left Oro to go meet Katie and Shaun to visit IMM's Giant to look around an check prices of food for our upcoming chalet.
But anyway, I was going to post a haul up, but since a few of my items aren't here yet, I decided to wait a while more, so just a heads up, major haul post coming!
